Honoring America's fallen heroes
This December, Hobby Lobby Transportation has the privilege of delivering memorial wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. The wreaths will be placed at the gravesites of fallen American heroes. This is the second year Hobby Lobby Transportation has been selected to deliver wreaths to our nation’s most historic national cemetery.
Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and more than 1,100 additional locations in all 50 states, at sea, and abroad. Last year, through their efforts, more than 900,000 wreaths were placed at veterans' graves nationwide. Every grave at Arlington National Cemetery–more than 230,000–received a wreath. This year their goal is to lay a memorial wreath on every fallen soldier’s gravesite at every national cemetery throughout the United States.
“This is the second year Hobby Lobby transportation will participate,” said David Adney, Assistant Vice President of Transportation. “We are very proud to be asked again to be involved as we honor these brave men and women who have served our country.”
