Hobby Lobby opens 100th Texas store
Hobby Lobby reached a milestone with the opening of its 100th location in Texas with the launch of its Spring, Texas, store. The new Houston-area location celebrated with grand opening festivities and a ribbon cutting celebration on August 21, 2017.
Although the Spring store is Hobby Lobby’s centenary location in the Lone Star State, it joins more than 750 stores in 47 states. The company is on track to open 50 new stores in 2017 and offers one of the highest wage rates in the industry with full-time employees earning at least $15.70 an hour.
“Opening our 100th store in Texas is a significant milestone for Hobby Lobby as we continue to look for locations to meet customer needs with the widest variety of craft and home decor merchandise under one roof,” stated Kelly Black, Director of Advertising.
