Hobby Lobby completes store openings for 2017
Hobby Lobby has opened its last new location for the year. The nationwide craft and home decor retailer opened its newest store on October 2, in Redding, California, for a total of 51 locations opened this year and bringing the total number of stores to 791 in 47 states.
In addition to opening new stores, Hobby Lobby relocated 12 older stores in 2017. New and renovated locations enable the retailer to provide better services and shopping experiences to customers.
For the past several years, Hobby Lobby has averaged more than 50 new stores annually, a move that has created thousands of local jobs across the nation. Plans are currently underway to continue the growth trend in 2018.
