Hobby Lobby sponsoring OKC Passion Awards

Hobby Lobby announced it is sponsoring the OKC Passion Awards. The purpose of the Passion Awards is to identify and support effective, excellent ministries committed to advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Passion Awards were first launched in 2001 in Kansas City and has awarded over $1.2 million in grants to 138 ministries. Hobby Lobby has partnered with NCF Heartland to bring the Passion Awards to OKC as a way of giving back to a community that has meant so much to them.

The OKC Awards will be presented on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at a citywide celebration event held at the Cox Convention Center. The theme for the 2018 OKC Passion Awards is The Time is Now (Esther 4:14).

The OKC Passion Awards are limited to organizations that focus on serving the Oklahoma City metropolitan community. The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, September 29, 2017.

There will be two informational sessions about the grant opportunity and proposal process at the Hobby Lobby headquarters on Thursday, July 27th (1:30pm-2:30pm) and Friday, July 28th (10:30am-11:30am). Space is limited and registration is required.
