Hobby Lobby runs holiday messages at Christmas and Easter. “These ads don’t include sale items or special pricing,” stated company president Steve Green. “We just want to let people know that we love our Lord.”

This year’s Easter ad features the message “Saved by Grace.” The scripture verse John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Since 1997, these holiday messages have been placed in newspapers Hobby Lobby regularly advertises in. With the addition of social media and digital advertising, many more thousands of people view and share the life-giving messages.

This year’s ad is a reminder of the reason for Easter as it celebrates what millions of people around the world and throughout history have considered the most significant event in human history–the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
