National ad celebrates Independence Day

Hobby Lobby commemorates the 240th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with a full-page ad in newspapers across the country.

The July 4th ad features quotes from the nation’s founding fathers, Patrick Henry, Benjamin Franklin, former presidents, supreme court justices, as well as congressional reports and supreme court rulings. The quotes emphasize the relevance and need for God and the Bible in the fabric of American life.

Hobby Lobby runs holiday messages at Christmas, Easter and on the Fourth of July. Since 1997, these full-page ads have been placed in hundreds of newspapers that Hobby Lobby regularly advertises in. With the addition of social media, many more thousands of people view and share the life-giving messages online.

As with previous ads, Hobby Lobby partners with Need Him Ministry to invite anyone who would like to know Jesus as Lord and Savior to contact chataboutjesus.com. The ad also offers a free Bible for mobile devices at mardel.com/bible.
